Tabwell Privacy Policy

Tabwell is a Chrome extension for local tab management, smart grouping, tab sleep, NSFW blocking, One-Tab mode, search, and Space.

What Tabwell Does Not Collect

Tabwell does not collect, upload, sell, rent, or share your browsing history, tab list, tab titles, URLs, page content, page descriptions, page keywords, or saved Space data with our servers.

Tabwell does not collect the content of webpages you visit. For smart grouping, Tabwell may read limited page metadata such as the page title, meta description, and meta keywords. This metadata is used locally in your browser for classification and is not uploaded to our servers.

Data Stored Locally

Tabwell stores the following data locally in Chrome storage:

This data remains on your device unless you choose to export, share, email, or otherwise provide it.

Browser Permissions

Tabwell requests Chrome permissions needed to manage tabs and groups, including tabs, tabGroups, storage, alarms, notifications, webNavigation, contextMenus, scripting, favicon, sidePanel, system.cpu, and system.memory.

Host access is used so Tabwell can identify tabs, read limited page metadata for local grouping, and apply NSFW or grouping rules. Host access is not used to upload browsing content.

Space And Browsing History

The Space feature records a local timeline of pages visited while Tabwell is running. This is separate from Chrome's own history service and is stored locally for the retention period you choose in settings. You can delete records from Space, change retention, or remove Tabwell to clear extension-stored data.

NSFW Guard

NSFW matching and blocking are performed locally in your browser using local rules and metadata. Tabwell does not send visited URLs or page content to a remote NSFW service.

If you email us for feedback, product suggestions, support, or other related matters, we will receive the information you choose to send, including your email address and message content. We use that information only to respond and improve Tabwell.

Payments And Subscriptions

During the Beta free trial, subscription UI may be hidden or disabled. If paid subscriptions are added later, payment processing will be handled by a third-party payment provider. Tabwell will not store full card numbers in the extension. Payment-related identifiers may be used only to verify entitlement.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share local browsing history, tab content, or Space data with advertisers or analytics providers.

We may disclose information only if required by law, to protect users, or to operate a payment/support flow that you initiate.

Limited Use

Tabwell uses browsing activity, tab metadata, and locally stored Space data only to provide the user-facing tab management features described in the extension and Chrome Web Store listing. Tabwell does not use this data for advertising, creditworthiness, unrelated analytics, or selling or transferring it to third parties.

Children

Tabwell is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as Tabwell changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating this document and the effective date.

浏览器权限

Tabwell 会申请管理标签和分组所需的 Chrome 权限，包括 tabs、tabGroups、storage、alarms、notifications、webNavigation、contextMenus、scripting、favicon、sidePanel、system.cpu 和 system.memory。

Host 访问权限用于识别标签、读取有限网页元数据以进行本地分组，并应用 NSFW 或分组规则。Host 访问权限不会用于上传浏览内容。

空间和浏览历史

空间功能会记录 Tabwell 运行期间访问过页面的本地时间轴。它不同于 Chrome 自带历史记录，仅按你在设置中选择的保存时间保存在本地。你可以删除空间记录、修改保存时间，或卸载 Tabwell 来清除扩展保存的数据。

NSFW 拦截

NSFW 匹配和拦截在你的浏览器本地完成，基于本地规则和元数据。Tabwell 不会把访问的 URL 或网页内容发送给远程 NSFW 服务。

联系和支持

如果你通过邮件向我们反馈问题、提出产品建议、请求帮助或沟通其他相关事宜，我们会收到你主动发送的信息，包括邮箱地址和邮件内容。我们只会将这些信息用于回复和改进 Tabwell。

支付和订阅

Beta 免费试用期间，订阅 UI 可能会隐藏或不可用。未来如果加入付费订阅，支付将由第三方支付服务商处理。Tabwell 扩展不会存储完整银行卡号。支付相关标识仅用于验证订阅权益。

数据分享

我们不会出售你的数据。我们不会向广告商或分析服务商分享本地浏览历史、标签内容或空间数据。

只有在法律要求、保护用户、或处理你主动发起的支付/支持流程时，才可能披露必要信息。

限定用途

Tabwell 只会将浏览活动、标签元数据和本地保存的空间数据用于扩展和 Chrome 网上应用店页面中说明的用户可见标签管理功能。Tabwell 不会将这些数据用于广告、信用评估、无关分析，也不会出售或转让给第三方。

儿童

Tabwell 不面向 13 岁以下儿童。我们不会有意收集儿童个人信息。

变更

我们可能随着 Tabwell 功能变化更新本政策。重大变更会通过更新本文档和生效日期体现。
